Intelligent Design

Yesterday I was having a great discussion online with one of Faith's friends about Evolution vs. Intelligent Design.  For instance, you would never look at a watch and not know that there was an intelligent designer behind it.  You would never think that somehow all the pieces randomly found each other from the millions of other pieces in the world and somehow got together in exactly the right order to make itself into a watch.  That couldn't happen even if had billions of years - it would never randomly become a watch.  But yet people want to believe that through billions of years, and a gazillion mutations, somehow all the pieces found each other to somehow form life.  Why do they not immediately think of an Intelligent Designer when they look at nature?

I went outside to water my deck plants and saw this.  How could I not worship The Intelligent Designer I know personally?  How else would this all come together so perfectly and just then?

When he (Jesus) came near the place where the road goes down the Mount of Olives, the whole crowd of disciples began joyfully to praise God in loud voices for all the miracles they had seen:

Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord!
“Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!”

Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus,

 “Teacher, rebuke your disciples!”

“I tell you,” he replied, “if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.”
~ Luke 19
